Are EMFs Dangerous?
It’s a revelation for many people. There’s an unseen dimension now saturated with man-made electromagnetic fields (EMFs). They surround each of us. It’s in our homes, offices, shops and even our places of worship. EMFs weren’t a part of the human experience in times past. Now they’re becoming almost impossible to avoid. It’s not surprising that people are beginning to recognize the danger of the ever increasing EMF levels and are wondering how they can reduce their exposure.
The first and most critical area to control is the home. Your home should be a healthy and healing sanctuary. Getting EMFs under control in your home boils down to first understanding exactly what types and levels of EMFs you have in your home.
There are four basic types of EMFs and each will have it’s own ‘strength’. You might have low electric field strength, low magnetic field strength, but high levels of microwave radiation and dirty electricity for example. Second, you need a plan for addressing the specific challenges in your home since no two homes are the same.

Keith worked 17 years in high-tech for Apple and Hewlett-Packard with contributions in programming, systems engineering and domestic & international marketing. As a volunteer in search and rescue Keith received training as an Emergency Medical Technician then worked 13 years in Emergency Medical Services as Crew Member, Lieutenant, Captain then Deputy Chief. While working for Bonner County EMS Keith was exposed to the increasing levels of non-native electromagnetic fields (nnEMF) that he feels provided the straw that broke the camel’s back – ending Keith’s career as an emergency medical practitioner and provoking his nnEMF sensitivity.
After learning he was electromagnetic hypersensitivity, Keith is living in a fully shielded home of his own design and construction. Keith has recovered his health and spends his time helping others manage the increasingly difficult challenge of balancing personal and family exposure to harmful man-made electromagnetic radiation with the natural EMF provided, from the beginning, for our nourishment.
